Remote Data and Service Access
There are several ways to access your data and services remotely (off-campus). Some require applications installed on your computer (such as iFolder and VPN), while some data and services can be accessed directly through your web browser (NetStorage and AppMail).
Novell iFolder
Novell's iFolder, a free data synchronization service offered by the College of Education, allows files at home and at work to be synchronized.
RCOE iFolder client software can be obtained at: http://rcoe.ced.appstate.edu:51080/iFolder/
Note: A server account must be activated in order to begin the synchronization process. Please use the Help Request System to request access to iFolder.
Novell NetStorage
Novell's NetStorage provides access to shared Novell resources and data on the College of Education Novell server.
RCOE NetStorage can be accessed via the web at: https://rcoe.ced.appstate.edu:51443/NetStorage/

Email via AppMail
You can access your campus email from anywhere using a web browser. Visit http://appmail.appstate.edu/ and use your campus username and password to log in.
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
The VPN service allows campus facutly and staff access to services as if they were on campus. VPN access is maintained by ITS.
