  Belinda is the Coordinator of off-campus recruitment and advising. Belinda completed her Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Arts degree and her Educational Specialist degree at James Madison University. Prior to working for Appalachian State University, Belinda worked with Caldwell County TRIO programs. In her spare time, Belinda enjoys reading and running.
• Karen Laws, Administrative Assistant

  Karen is the Administrative Assistant at the Appalachian State University Center and has earned Associate degrees in Microcomputer Systems Technology and Pre-Computer Science and Business Administration from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Prior to her current position, Karen was the assistant for the Leadership and Educational Studies Department at Appalachian State University, in Boone. In her spare time, Karen enjoys tending to her family's farm in the foothills of NC.

• Ms. Christie Beach
  Christie is a member of the first full-time, daytime, off-campus Elementary Education degree program offered by Appalachian. Prior to attending Appalachian, Christie studied at Caldwell Community College and was an active member in TRIO. During her spare time, Christie enjoys working in her garden and spending time with friends.

  Casey is a member of the second cohort to begin a full-time, daytime, off-campus, Elementary Education degree program offered by Appalachian. Prior to attending Appalachian State University, Casey attended Caldwell Community College in Hudson, North Carolina. In her spare time, Casey enjoys scrapbooking and photography.
• Ms. Amanda Dunn
  Amanda is a member of the first cohort to begin a full-time, daytime, off-campus, Elementary Education degree program. Prior to attending Appalachian State University, Amanda lived in Baltimore, Maryland and also attended Caldwell Community College in Hudson, North Carolina. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys goat herding and being a fabulous big sister.

• Mr. Shawn Harbison
  Shawn is an Appalachian State University Center computer technician. Prior to working for Appalachian State University, Shawn attended Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and received his A.A.S. degree.  He then earned his B.S.B.E. in Information Technology at Eastern Carolina University.  Shawn also served in the United States Air Force for six years. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys listening to NPR.
• Mr. Greg Watson
  Greg is an Appalachian State University Center computer technician.  Prior to working for Appalachian State University, Greg attended Caldwell Community College in Hudson, North Carolina.  In his spare time, Greg enjoys playing and listening to music.
